Privacy Policy
This site, buildos.studio, is run by Oasis Studios (a trade name of Cali #1 Roofing), California, USA. It exists to tell you what BuildOS is and to let you join a waitlist. This policy says exactly what we collect when you do that, and how to get it removed.
What we collect
Only what you type into the waitlist form, plus what any web server sees:
- Email address — required. It is the only way we can tell you when your spot opens.
- What you build — optional free text (for example, “roofing”). We use it to understand who is waiting.
- Where you signed up from — a short tag such as “www” that names the page or campaign, and the date and time of the signup.
- Your browser’s user-agent string — stored with the signup so we can spot automated submissions.
- Your IP address — processed in memory to limit repeated submissions. It is not written to the waitlist.
That is the whole list. There are no cookies, no analytics scripts, no advertising pixels and no third-party trackers on this site. If that ever changes, this page changes first.
What we do with it
- We email you once, when a spot on BuildOS opens for you. Nothing else is sent to that address by this site.
- We do not sell, rent or share your details with anyone for their own purposes.
- We do not use your details to build a profile of you.
Where it is kept
The waitlist is stored in a Postgres database hosted by Supabase, and the site is served by Vercel. Both are hosted in the United States. Access to the waitlist is limited to the people at Oasis Studios who run BuildOS.
How long we keep it
Until you are invited onto BuildOS, or until you ask us to delete it, whichever comes first. If BuildOS is not launched, the waitlist is deleted.
Your rights
You can ask us at any time to tell you what we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. Email privacy@buildos.studio from the address you signed up with, or tell us that address, and we will delete the record within 30 days and confirm by reply. California residents have these rights under the CCPA; we honour them for everyone.
Children
This site is for people who run building businesses. It is not directed at anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly keep details of anyone under 18. If you think we have, email us and we will delete them.
Changes
If we change this policy, the effective date at the top changes. Material changes are announced on this page before they take effect.
